Welcome to GDX- working to save dachshunds globally

Hello, dachshund-loving world!

Last Thursday, February 21st, 2013, four doxie mommas in Canada and the United States decided we needed to make an impact in the world of helping to save cute little wiener dogs. By the following Monday, we had a FaceBook page, a Twitter account and had already added the 5th doxie momma all the way from Sweden, to the group. One week later, we are ready to join the blogging world, too.

This blog will feature a weekly roundup of dachshunds with happy endings. We all need some smiles when looking at so many sweet faces behind bars. Along the way, our group wants to help raise awareness about our favorite breed of dogs and provide everyone with tools on how to help save doxies in your own community.

So, please, come wiener wiggle along as we make an impact globally.
